Financial support: our concept is working!

Our committee in Laos co-operates with other useful organizations. Every year the people in the district become more self-sufficient and take more initiative. The local authorities actively work together with our foundation to distribute our support honestly and efficiently. Every year more schools are helped. Our committee built the first water well. People have healthier lives and are starting to build their own toilets. And more tourist are being guided around by people from poor villages. That way they make some money and more people get interested in Laos and in helping the people in the Khong-district.

Tax deduction when you donate to us

 Ever since 1-1-2008 we have been listed on the ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) under the fiscal number 8160.71.950. This means that we are approved as a useful foundation. We are listed as the ‘Stichting vrienden van Khongdistrict’. This means, among others, that the donations can be deducted from your income for tax purposes. Of course the donation must meet the requirements of the tax collectors office. If you want to donate money to us, or are already doing this, you should read the below information. Because your donation can be registered with the tax collectors office and this could give you a tax deduction. A donation to us can easily be deducted through your tax return:

• If your donation is more than 1% of your annual income (minimum amount is 60 euro's), you can get a tax deduction. The first percent is not deductable;

• A maximum of 10% of your annual income is deductable;

• You can easily register your donation through the ‘Aangiftebiljet Inkomstenbelasting’ or the ‘T-biljet’;

• Save your bank transcriptions as proof.
